Everyone needs to understand that high self esteem is a requirement to succeed and survive in schools today. It’s so easy to feel sad if you aren’t just like the other kids. It’s so easy to feel down when some kids say mean things to you. Those of you who know about my story know that I love that I am different and that I thrive on that.
We have to pass the word to all kids the fact that those of us who care support each other
through all of the difficult times. We need to let everyone know that the Rugby Jones team to fight bullies will always be on their side. We need to believe that we are cool and smart and capable. We need to help each other gain the confidence to believe that we can do anything!
A lot of you have requested that the audio of The “Tail” of Rugby Jones: A Rascal’s Journey from disability to Ability should be available for download and guess what? Now it is and that means that there is no waiting time. So if you know of any kids who need some encouragement to believe that life can be great no matter how different they are or how difficult life can be, here it is! Yippee!
