Guess what? We just received an email that made us so happy! Our book is really showing parents and kids how to change their lives from being defenseless and powerless into lives that are built on inner strength, confidence and the ability to overcome!
The mother of a boy named Eric told us that after she read The “Tail” of Rugby Jones everything changed for the better. She admitted that she had unknowingly contributed to the bullying her son was experiencing by giving him the message that he was a victim! She said that the last chapter of our book gave her the answer that she had been looking for.
She used my experiences and attitude as an example to her son and that helped him see that being different can be great. She said that after they read the book together, he seemed happier. Then she told us that right before summer break, she got a call from Eric’s teacher. Eric’s teacher told her that something had changed with Eric. He seemed so happy and guess what else? She said that the bullying had stopped. Yippee!!
