Would You Sign This?

Parents, if this oath were offered at your child’s school, would you want your child to sign it? Would you sign it? Do you think staff should sign it?

I _________________ will not be a bully. I will not laugh at anyone who is being  bullied and I will tell others not to laugh either. I will tell a responsible adult about any bullying incident.

If anyone makes me feel sad or afraid, I will report my experience. I will not let anyone do things to me that make me feel sad or cause others to laugh at me.

I will remember that I am very special and should be treated with respect and kindness. I will treat others with respect and kindness too.
