National Hispanic Heritage Month begins September 15th.
So in honor of this special month, we are going to try to write this post in Spanish and in English.
Mes de la Herencia Hispana comienza 15 de septiembre.
Así que en honor de este mes tan especial, vamos a tratar de escribir este post en español y en Inglés.
Una mujer con el nombre de Barb relacionados con su historia para nosotros. Ella dijo que su sobrina había sido herido y estaba en una silla de ruedas y tenía dificultad para hablar. Dijo que después del accidente de su sobrina, que había evitado visitar a la familia de su hermano. Ella dijo que no había sabido cómo tratar a Melissa o cómo actuar en torno a sus padres.
Barb dice que en el capítulo ocho de la “cola” de Rugby Jones, de repente, entendí que la vida puede ser grande aun cuando son diferentes y tienen una discapacidad. Ella dijo que ella llevó a su casa y dijo con entusiasmo, lo entiendo! Melissa, estoy tan feliz de estar aquí y visite con usted y su mamá y papá. He echado de menos. Ella dijo que Melissa sonrió y se acercó a ella. Dijo que su hermano le preguntó más tarde, ¿por qué el cambio? Dijo Rugby Jones. ¡Qué lección de vida! A woman by the name of Barb related her story to us. She said that her niece had been injured and was in a wheelchair and had difficulty in speaking. She said that after her niece’s accident, she had avoided visiting her brother’s family. She said she hadn’t known how to treat Melissa or how to act around her parents.
Barb said that in chapter eight of The “Tail” of Rugby Jones she suddenly understood that life can be great even when you are different and have a disability. She said that she drove over to their house and excitedly said, I GET IT!!! Melissa, I am so happy to be here and visit with you and your mom and dad. I have missed you. She said that Melissa smiled and reached out to her. She said that her brother asked her later, why the change? She said Rugby Jones. What a lesson on life! That book helped me understand that people with disabilities are just people.
