Dare to be different!

After all, there are different breeds of dogs, cats, horses and rabbits to name a few. There are different cultures and different races. There are different colors of people and animals. People and animals have different opinions and that’s a good thing because it makes life interesting.

How boring would this world be if it were filled with sameness? Imagine how you would feel if you were exactly the same as everyone else in the world?

What do you know about seahorses? They are just one example of this wonderful world of ours being filled with diversity.

Did you know that the male seahorse is born with a brood pouch? The female seahorse deposits up to 1500 eggs into the male’s brood pouch. The female seahorse swims away after she has deposited her eggs into the male’s brood pouch. After he carries the eggs for 9-45 days he expels fully developed baby sea horses into the water.

His role is finished and he gives no more care to his children.

In essence, the baby seahorses are abandoned right after they are actually born.

Humans and animals don’t usually live that way but does that mean that seahorses are bad, evil, inferior, flawed, substandard, faulty or awful?

The answer is no. Seahorses are just different. Are you different in any way? Hopefully, you are because you will have something special to share with this world of ours.
