A hero of all times was and is Superman a.k.a. Christopher Reeve. Christopher Reeve was a hero in the movies when he played Superman and even more of a hero after he had a spinal cord injury because what he dedicated his life to doing.
Christopher Reeve kept a positive attitude in spite of becoming a quadriplegic. Christopher Reeve lobbied on behalf of people with spinal cord injuries and began the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation. He helped people who were being bullied in the movies and helped people with spinal cord injuries in real life.
It is such an honor to be listed on the Christopher and Dana Reeve foundation 2010 Gift Guide for People Living with Paralysis and for that we are very grateful and very proud.
As stated on The Christopher and Dana Reeve foundation 2010 Gift Guide for People Living with Paralysis:
The Tail of Rugby Jones: A Rascal’s Journey From Disability to Ability
As a dog, Rugby lived a normal life on a Pennsylvania farm–that is until he became paralyzed. Although his life had changed so suddenly, his owner stood by him. With his “can-do” attitude, Rugby never gave up hope in his ability to walk. This story carries an important moral that motivates adults and children alike to always have a positive attitude.
