Help an Animal

Like anything and with everything, there are positives and negatives depending on perspective. Many of us were taught as children that Christmas was not the time for new pets to arrive in homes. Many were not taught this and do not understand the concept.

Children and Christmas can be chaotic and even with the best of   intentions, the animals can suffer. In addition, giving a pet to someone without the recipient and the family’s preparation and approval, can be a terrible situation. Things can go wrong and again it’s the animal who suffers.

If you know of an animal who was given as a gift for Christmas and things are not going well, please step in. Find out where the animal was purchased or adopted and see about the options for the animal. Please don’t wait because the longer the animal stays in a home where he or she is not welcome or neglected, the worse things will get.

The longer a pet stays in a situation that is not healthy, the longer it takes for the pet to recover.

Please, if you are a true animal lover, step in.
