Ignoring the obvious increases the likelihood of risk to someone or something.
In the case of wearing shoes that are too small, the person wearing them can get blisters.
In the case of abuse, physical and emotional issues can emerge.
In the case of children who fall between the cracks, people like Jared Lee Loughner can emerge.
There is just no acceptable reason why he should have “flown below the radar.”
People who came in contact with him, listened to what he said, watched his videos or read his words… ignored the obvious.
Parents, teachers and friends, if you come in contact with a troubled child, please don’t ignore the obvious because if you do more lives may be lost.
Little Christina Green who was only nine years old died because people ignored the obvious. This beautiful child who was born on 9/11 died on 1/8 because people ignored the obvious.
