Yet another email that has caused disbelief and out and out shock on this end. how can parents ignore the obvious??
Cutting to the chase, how can parents of kids younger than twelve allow them on FaceBook?? What is wrong with parents? What possible reason could be an acceptable one? How can anyone in today’s world think that an impressionable and innocent child has a place on FaceBook? How can parents not understand that there are adults of questionable identities and agendas on FaceBook?
Is it because parents want to be popular and cool with their kids? Is it because parents are just unaware of the dangers on the internet? Is it that parents just don’t care? Is it that parents are lazy or tired?
No matter what the reason is, it’s time for a wake-up call. If you know of any parents with kids under 16, please wake them up to reality.
Danger! Danger! Danger! Facebook is not the place for kids to interact. Please, step up and teach parents about the reality of FaceBook and the internet!
