Save A Child from Being Bullied – Ask Three Questions

Parents, you probably ask your kids regularly, “How was school today?” You probably question them about how they did on recent tests. You probably ask them how much homework they have.

Those are all important questions but there are other questions that are more critical to ask them.

Three questions that you must ask

  • Who did you sit with at lunch today?
  • Who did you sit with on the bus today?
  • What did you do during recess?

The reason that you must ask these questions is so that you can understand what your child is experiencing during the school day. A day at school is so more than sitting at a desk and raising your hand if you know an answer.

A huge part of your child’s school experience depends on what happens at recess, at lunch and on the bus.

Is your child feeling left out? Is your child the one who is leaving someone else out? Is your child afraid? Is your child feeling lonely? Is bullying involved in any way?

Parents, you need to ask questions that will prompt your child to give you clues about the possibility of bullying!
