We spent the afternoon today at The Shriners Hospital for Children in Philadelphia. The emotions that we are feeling are beyond belief. One of the things that hit us really hard is the fact that kids who are suffering with SCIs (spinal cord injuries) are being targeted by bullies.
As if dealing with a spinal cord injury isn’t difficult enough but these kids must also endure the mean and demeaning actions of kids who want to hurt them even more.
