If you don’t believe that differences should be accepted and valued, think about this story.
A Jack Russell named Annabelle just gave birth to two puppies. A friend of Annabelle’s family rescued two little abandoned four week old kittens. She was trying to feed them with a medicine dropper but the kittens weren’t eating.
As a last attempt to save the kittens, she brought them to Annabelle’s house. She was hoping that maybe, just maybe Annabelle could save them.
Guess what? She did! Annabelle saved the kittens’ lives. According to Annabelle’s mom, she is letting them nurse, cleaning them and protecting them. She actually carries them around in her mouth.
Those o
f you who are regulars here or if you have read The “Tail” of Rugby Jones: A Rascal’s Journey from Disability to Ability, you know how much we love Jack Russell’s. Jack Russells are courageous. They have a lot of energy. They are very smart. They are loyal and very very loving.
Jack Russells are very appreciative of differences. We can learn a lot from Jack Russells. The Jack Russell in these pictures are Katie, our Jack Russell.
Our Twitter friend @smartwoman (Vicki Flaugher) says, “…You can learn a lot from a dog.” Guess what? Vicki is so right!
