Elizabeth Stuart Teaches All

As those of you regulars here know, we applaud, commend and support the kids and adults who have the courage to stand up and be heard about the pain that they have experienced because of bullying and abuse.

In the news today is the courageous Elizabeth Smart who was held captive for nine months when she was only fourteen years old. The part of this story that gives such inspiration is that a child who became an adult has had the courage to speak out about what had happened to her! This beautiful and inspirational young woman said, “Today is the ending of a very long chapter and the beginning of a beautiful chapter for me!”

Adults, please inspire the children in your lives to stand up if they have been abused! Stand by them and share your strength so that they will have the courage to tell the world what happened to them!

This is the only way that children who are afraid to step forward will gain courage. Just think about what these kids can do to help other kids with your help!
