What Kind Of Example Are You?

Parents, teachers, aunts, uncles, neighbors and friends, what are the messages that you are giving the children in your lives? What kind of examples are you setting for them? What dreams are you sharing with them? What lessons on life are you teaching them? What are you encouraging them to learn and do?

What you do will make a huge difference in their lives. Your actions will influence them in how they act and react to situations. The power that you have is extraordinary. You can mold their characters both positively and negatively. It’s all about what you do and not about what you say.

As children begin to experience life, they watch the adults in order to learn how to act and what to say.

It’s all about the little things. It’s all about the little reactions. It’s all about the little kindnesses and the little unkindness’s that they see. These little things will dictate how they treat others and how they treat themselves.

If you need proof, ask a toddler a few questions about what the adults in his or her life do and say. You might be totally shocked to see and hear what has been witnessed. Kids don’t miss much. Don’t ever forget that and don’t ever take your power lightly.
