Life can still be simple if everyone plays by the rules. Take the playground rules that applied to everyone years ago. That was in a time that was not directed by the internet.
These “old fashioned” rules are still important for all kids and adults to follow because they work. They work in life. They work in person and they work via the internet. They work because they aren’t complicated. In fact they are simple!
Some of you might actually remember the playground code of conduct.
No Cutting In Front: Be careful that you aren’t stepping on someone else in your desire for success. You might be taking a shortcut that will come with consequences that create ill will. If you cut in front, people will see you as being selfish.
No Do Overs: When you make a mistake, own up to it. Pay the consequences. Don’t blame or make excuses!
No Take Backs: When you give something, don’t try to take it back. This is about giving your word too! Making a promise and taking it back shows that you can’t be trusted.
Take Turns: Taking turns shows respect. It can be as simple as giving the other person a chance to talk while you listen.
Use The Buddy System: Having partners in life and business offers support and gives strength. When people stick together they present a united force. There is strength in numbers.
