Rules Kids Should Live By

  • Take pride in who you are.
  • Stand with your shoulders back and your head held high.
  • Tell the truth.
  • Be loyal.
  • Find an adult who you trust.
  • Remember that being different is okay.
  • Always do the best you can do even if others can do things better.
  • Failing can be a good thing if you learn something.
  • If someone is unkind to anyone, tell a trusted adult.
  • Accept and be kind to everyone.
  • Try to smile a lot.
  • Think about happy things.
  • Don’t make excuses.
  • Don’t be afraid to be yourself.
  • Don’t talk about the other kids.
  • Don’t ever do nothing about bullies.
  • Don’t keep secrets that adults tell you.
  • Don’t cheat.
  • Do not get discouraged if you are the last one picked to be on a team; show them that you are a valuable player!
  • Don’t be mean.
  • Don’t believe it if kids say something unkind about you.

Parents, please watch your kids closer!

    Those are awesome rules! One that might be added: Do not get discouraged if you are the last one picked to be on a team; show them that you are a valuable player!

    Hmmm…Do the kides actually pick the teams for various sports at school nowadays or do they get assigned?
